Wisconsin Love

The thing about shooting weddings is its so intimate. Kellen and I are there for all of it, the smiles, the nervousness, the happiness, the excitement. So when we do an engagement session its not only for the couple to have great photos of themselves, but so we can get to know them… So on the day, we are friends, which makes things so much less awkward.

Well, Stacey and Craig, she is from Wisconsin and he is from Oregon, decided to have their e-sesssion in the snow. It was freezing, but it was was so worth it. Craig and Stacey have the love that shows through their bodies, which for a photographer is a dream come true. It was so cold, but they withstood it and we shot for 35 minutes. We found a tree, and set up a picnic, and shot. It was the perfect patch of green grass showing through. I loved every minute of it. They are an amazing couple, who after an hour and half of sharing a cup of coffee and taking their photos,  we can call our friends. We couldn’t be any more excited to shoot their wedding.. but until then here are their beautiful images.
