Two years ago, when we moved to Portland we had no home. We knew very few people, and we had no idea where we were going to live. When we were in California (some of our stuff in Portland already) we were looking at places to live every hour almost. We lived on Craigs list. I knew that I didn’t want to live in an apartment building, and I knew that Flint would freak out if he had to poop on a leash! So when we saw a above ground basement in Sw Portland, right near the dog park, with an awesome family and a dog and yard. I KNEW it had to be ours.
This family took us in, let us borrow furniture while we were trying to grow our home. They made us part of the family, and immediately made us feel like home. Their little boy Knox soon stole our hearts and we couldn’t get enough of this family. But alas, it had to end at sometime. They sold the house, we all moved and I have to admit I miss the Knox running down the hallway above us. Well they bought a BEAUTIFUL new house, and I got to go hang out with them the other day. We did an amazing little shoot right in their yard in their house. I love being in the families own environment, it shows how comfortable they are and it just makes my heart happy.
Enjoy this family! I know that they are near and dear to our hearts.
